Join us for Pumpkinfest 2012

Schedule of Events (tentative)

Pancake Breakfast 8:00 am
Parade of the Giant Pumpkins begins at 10:30 am (everyone welcome to participate as well as watch)
Craft Tables, food booths, church meals from noon on
Contests, children's games, and entertainment from noon till 4:30 pm
Weigh-off begins at 12:30 pm at C. M. L. Snider Public School on Main Street in Wellington

Our municipal council extends a warm welcome to all visitors to historial Prince Edward County.  We hope that you will enjoy our spectacular scenery, heritage homes, sun drenched beaches, favourite fishing spots, antique, art, craft and other interesting shops.

A full array of accommodations and excellent restaurants await your arrival along with water and land based activities to suit every pocket book.  Have fun in Wellington at the 14th Annual Pumpkinfest event.

The Pumpkinfest Committee wishes to welcome you to "The County" and the fourtheenth, annual P.E.C. Pumpkinfest 2012 in Wellington.  We hope you will enjoy our parade, weigh-off, contests, games, food, entertainment, and the other surprises our village has to offer.

Many volunteers from our local organizations, churches, business community, growers and interested individuals have planned and worked to make this event possible.  We hope, you, our visitors, have a great time and thank you for joining us to celebrate our 14th Pumpkinfest.  Please return and enjoy our "County", no matter the time of year.  As its inhabitants, we feel truly blessed to live here.
