The farm was patented in 1801 and the house was built shortly after, so it is approximately 200 years old. Construction is board and batten siding on wood frame. It has seen at least 3 major additions and hence has three levels to the main floor.
Apart from our two horses, Misty and Foxy, and the chickens and turkeys, there are hundreds of varieties of birds in this area and they love the ponds, trees and open meadows. You will wake to doves cooing in the yard.

We are landscapers by trade and organic in our practise to help preserve the wildlife. Point Petre and Point Traverse are fast earning a reputation as being the premium birding area in Ontario.
