Enjoy a peaceful, private setting on 97 acres of fields & woods overlooking natural marshlands at Blossom Ridge Farmhouse on Big Island. Blossom Ridge is a 4 bedroom farmhouse decorated with country charm offering a private in-ground swimming pool, a  8-person hot tub, and an enclosed play area for children.

This is a kid-friendly vacation spot; the house and farm are far from the road and there is lots of space so children can run free!! Children will also have lots of fun in the large (40' by 40') indoor recreation area Kids can enjoy bikes, tricycles, ride-on-toys, baby toys, reading books, playing board games or using art supplies. With four bedrooms, this county home sleeps 11 comfortably.

The first upper half of the house has a 3-piece bathroom and 3 bedrooms; two bedrooms having Queen beds, the other is a large divided room with bunk beds (Single) and two Single beds. The other half of the upper level has a large loft with a Double bed, crib and 2 Single beds. On the main level there is a 4-piece bathroom. Linens, blankets, pillows, towels are provided. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels and personal items.

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, toaster oven, cookware, dishes and cutlery. The dining room has a large table that seats 8 people.

Enjoy the gas fireplace while sitting comfortably in the casual living room. It has a pull-out sofa, chairs, coffee table, VCR and DVD. The formal living room is available for quiet times.

There is a laundry area with a washer and dryer as well as a clothes line for your convenience.

Walk out from the patio door to the in-ground pool (8 foot depth), hot tub and deck. Relax on the
sun deck or the back deck while viewing farmer's fields. Enjoy outdoor cook-offs using the gas BBQ. Watch a fire in the outdoor fire pit at night under the stars.

Blossom Ridge Farmhouse offers a casual getaway for family and friends seeking a relaxed rural experience for young and old. Enjoy the animals on the hobby farm. Help with feeding chickens, gathering eggs, bottle feeding a calf, a lamb, or kid goat. There are puppies, chicks, kittens and bunnies for children of all ages. 

Enjoy Quinte Bay waterfront views that surround Big Island. Cycle around the island on the quiet country roads and enjoy a picnic on a beautiful waterfront. Later, rent a boat from the nearby local marina and explore the Bay of Quinte waterways.

Conveniently located, Big Island is connected by a causeway providing easy access to all attractions in Prince Edward County. It is a short drive to shopping, local markets, casual & fine dining, and the Sandbanks Provincial Park; 15 minutes to Picton and 25 minutes to Sandbanks. It is a spacious venue for casual wedding parties, anniversaries and reunions of family and friends.
